To ensure you're set up for success, here are a few pre-training recommendations: Pre-Training Recommendations: - Hydration: Stay hydrated throughout the day by drinking plenty of water. Aim for 16-20 oz. of water at least 1-2 hours before your session. - Food: Have a light, balanced meal or snack 1-2 hours before your workout. Include a mix of protein and complex carbs for sustained energy (e.g., a banana with almond butter or a small serving of oatmeal with berries). - Supplements: If you use supplements, consider taking a pre-workout or BCAAs about 20-30 minutes before your session to boost energy and aid muscle recovery. - Attire: Wear comfortable, breathable workout clothes that allow full range of motion.
